I love color! The first thing I think about when designing a piece is how to put the colors together. Glass is an exciting way to deal with color because the pallet is endless and you have the added benefit of light. When the glass transmits or reflects light, many exciting effects can be achieved. I also play with glass as a texture which enhances the effects of light. Nature also plays a large part in my design process. I'm fascinated by the textures of natural substances and their color and lines. Imitating nature in its many forms and taking it apart and reconstructing it is an endless source of pleasure for me.
