glass, fusing, blowing, casting and flameworking are shown in a simple
form so that children, as well as adults can answer the Question "How did they do that?"
This is a glimpse into the world of artists who use glass to express
their creativity and will lead you to further explore the distinctive

Welcome to Mount ClareWinner of the 2003 Annual Maryland Historical Trust Award for Educational Excellence Welcome to Mount Clare Mansion, one of the finest examples of colonial
architecture in Maryland. It was built in 1760 as the country estate of
Charles Carroll, Barrister, a prominent Marylander in the American Revolution.
Today, this registered National Historic Landmark is a museum that lets
you glimpse life in a bygone era. No other museum house in Maryland contains
so many artifacts of daily living in the eighteenth century. |
